Sambucus nigra 'Black Beauty' is a striking deciduous shrub featuring velvety purple-black foliage from spring through autumn. It delivers fragrant white blooms in early summer, followed by ornamental berries that change to rich black or deep red in autumn, attracting birds. This versatile plant thrives in containers or beds and borders, adding year‑round interest to any garden.
Grower notes: For the most vibrant foliage colour, plant in full sun. The shrub is fully hardy and 눈 ideal for mixed borders or container displays.
Supplied as: 9 cm / 2 L pot (approx. 19 cm pot width). Current height 10–20 cm; total height including pot 40–50 cm.
Care tip: Cut back to ground level in early spring and apply a mulch of well‑rotted compost or manure around the base to promote vigorous new growth.
